The city of Philadelphia is known for having many hidden gems. The biggest being it’s talented youth. Often times, those talents are overshadowed by negativity. Keeping that in mind, K.Y.S was created to cater to our youth to keep them on the right path so that they stay safe. Hence the name “Keeping Youth Safe”. Whether student athletes, artists, or young entrepreneurs, our mission is to help our young caterpillars bloom into beautiful Butterflies.

K.Y.S was established in memory of a young African American woman, Kiyonna Yvonne Sutton, who was a medical student that tragically lost her life on December 31, 2024, in a motor vehicle accident. Kiyonna was a beautiful soul who cared for every person and creature she encountered. She was a daughter, an aunt, a sister and friend to all.  Her face lit up every room she walked in.  Her passion for helping others and her commitment to safety inspired the creation of this organization and our goal is to keep her memory and mission alive.
